Reduce Windows 7 Install Size? I decided to try out Windows 7 on my Dell Mini 9. The problem is, of 16GB it's taking most of it, leaving me with under 3GB for my files. While I mostly carry around just text files, I'm wondering if there's a way to uninstall useless Windows stuff like uninstalling language and printer drivers on OS X to shrink the install footprint.
Googling found me ways to shrink the 7 install disk with vLite before I install, but I'm looking for post-install methods; I could reinstall but I really don't want to.

I think you can, if you change the path Windows uses for it. You might have to go through the registry though? I haven't actually messed with it, but it should be doable. And as you know flash doesn't live as long if you keep writing to it. They really should be more clear about how long SSDs will live with all the writes to the pagefile that windows does etc, plus other things now like the indexer and so on.
