Download game pc ravenhearst

Basically the gameplay is the same as the other Mystery Case Files games, but that's not a bad thing because it's a proven enjoyable formula. You visit each 3D rendered room in the manor and have to find various 'clues' which are listed at the side of the screen.

This might sound easy except that each room is cluttered with a crazy assortment of items and so finding some clues can be really difficult especially when the clues are a bit cryptic. It doesn't help that the clues have American names and I'm English. For example it once said find a Pound sign, so I looked and looked and couldn't find it but it turned out that they meant a hash sign!

What the hell? There are plenty of other things like this including a road sign which turned out to be a yellow American one about deer crossing or something. This sort of thing could be viewed as a bit annoying but I guess I ought to take the line that non-Americans merely get more challenge out of the game :- It amazing how many differences there our in our languages actually.

When you've found all the clues in several rooms you are shown an old parchment-style picture that you have to piece together from puzzle pieces. This is pretty good fun and then you are shown a new page from the diary. You gradually find out about some lovers in the 's, and the women becomes ill and stays at her lover's newly built manor, and then the guy starts getting weird and reading weird books etc I shan't give away too much.

I've been playing these games for years. By now you'd think I'd be at the expert level! Not so unfortunately. This game is a definite must!! I'm going back to my old purchases and see if I had more and download them again.

This game was my first BF purchase and after going through the chilling story line with hidden objects as well as cool mini puzzles I was hooked. No one does it better than the Mystery Case File games! Although this is a dated game I think it is a crucial game to play with the Ravenhearst series. As long as you don't try to compare it with today's graphics and take it i for the story and the cleverness of the mini puzzles its not bad at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by katykeys from You Will Replay This! I loved this game. Love the whole series actually. This was the first game that introduced me to HO and I have replayed it at least twice.

Great story line, challenging puzzles and not slow moving or a whole lot of backtracking. MCF: Ravenhearst became the first of a series in a series. Despite all the others in the Ravenhearst series, this one is my favourite. There really is nothing more I can say. Besides, others have said it already. Rated 5 out of 5 by rects from One of the best MCF My mom and I played this and we could say that this is one of the most memorable games we've ever played!

Ravenhearst is one of the best in the MCF series. The first in the MCF Ravenhearst series. I first played it years ago,and was immediately a fan. I have played it over and over since then. It's a very creepy, spooky HOG. Remember this was done years ago, so it isn't a HOPA like they put out today. The puzzles to get though the locked door are so crfeative and so much fun, I wish MCF had put them in all the Ravenhearst games.

The plot sets up the series nicely, the next in line is Madame Fate, another game I highly recommend, then Return to Ravenhearst. The Ravenhearst series is the best creepy game series on the Big Fish site by far. Even though some of the other MCF games have disappointed greatly like "game of the year" Shadow Lake the Ravenhearst games have all the creepy, spooky, macabre fun you need.
